Don’t be put off by the spinach, this just tastes like vanilla, banana, and blueberries. So delicious and healthy, it’ll keep you ‘regular’, and I’ve been told it cures hangovers 😉
My Super Good Morning Green Smoothie
1/2 banana, frozen
1/2 c frozen blueberries
1 c vanilla almond milk, unsweetened
1/2 T flax seeds, freshly ground
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use EAS Lean 15 protein)
1 handful spinach
Throw the first 5 ingredients in a blender (I use an immersion blender in a smoothie cup) and blend until smooth. Add the spinach and blend just a couple seconds to break down the spinach. Drink right away.
Note: you don’t want to blend the spinach too much or add too much spinach because this will get gelatinous and that’s not yummy.
