Haddock au Gratin

2 T butter
2 T flour
½ t salt
½ c milk
½ c grated cheddar, sharp
2 t lemon juice
1 lb haddock fillets
buttered bread crumbs

Melt butter; add flour and salt. Stir roux until blended and cook for 1-2 min. Slowly add milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat and add cheese and lemon juice. Put fish in shallow baking dish. Pour cheese sauce over fish; top with buttered crumbs and bake at 350 for 30 min or until fish flakes with fork.
