Caramel Roasted Almond


And this would be my first ever post in the “Adult Beverage” Category. Generally, I usually go for beer and wine – err, beer OR wine – but tonight I didn’t cook anything and making up a new little cocktail just kinda dawned on me. I checked out what was in the back of the pantry, and a couple minutes later, this was the result. And it’s pretty darn good. Like, REALLY good. Looks downright angelic in the photo too with its halo of sugar doesn’t it? 🙂

Caramel Roasted Almond

  • 3/4 oz caramel-flavored vodka
  • 3/4 oz amaretto liqueur
  • 1 oz half and half
  • 1 oz Kahlua coffee-flavored liqueur
  • turbinato sugar

Take your serving glass, wet the rim and dip in the turbinato sugar. Add the Kahlua.

In a beverage shaker, add ice, then the vodka, amaretto, and half and half. Shake and strain gently into the glass with the Kahlua, so it looks swirly. Serve 🙂
