Cranberry BBQ Sauce

I have spent today just having fun with this new BBQ sauce! This sauce is absolutely stellar anyway you want to use it. I’ve already glazed some salmon with it, used it in a couple fillo wrapped appetizers, and I foresee a grilled pork steak covered in this stuff in the future. This is so good and it’s not too sweet or tart or cinnamony so it really is versatile.

Cranberry BBQ Sauce

  • 1 can (14 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 c ketchup
  • 1/4 c light brown sugar
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 t cumin
  • 1/4 t cardamom
  • pinch kosher salt
  • pinch fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 T balsamic vinegar
  • 1 T steak sauce (such as A1)

Combine in a small saucepan. Heat on medium-low heat until warmed through and flavors combine. Serve or chill until ready to use.
